Soderholm Foods was established in 1961 as a one man operation servicing the Madison, WI retail market.

Today, Soderholm Foods is a family owned independent refrigerated and frozen food distributor servicing over 500 grocery stores throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. As a direct store distributor (DSD), we specialize in the frozen food, dairy, meat, seafood, deli, bakery, and produce departments. Over the years, we have taken the lead with introducing and developing new specialty product lines, including natural, organic, vegetarian and gluten free items.
 

Dawn’s Foods, which has a common ownership with Soderholm Foods, produces foods that many of our customers say that they made themselves. We are proud to say that when our customers decided to purchase salads instead of making them "in-house", Dawn's is the name most people choose for that replacement. WHY?
