continues to grow in its mission to support individuals with disabilities providing them growth and opportunity, through creative programming in a day service setting, as well as in our community. We are currently seeking Part-time AND Full-Time Program Instructors to use teachable moments to facilitate meaningful experiences and assist people with a variety of developmental disabilities, mental illness, traumatic brain injuries, physical challenges, and other medical needs to be able to participate in a diverse variety of daily activities. This is an ENTRY LEVEL position within our organization with great growth opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: facilitating group activities, recreation, and community events; document daily opportunities and obstacles; provide personal care support as needed; provide participant transportation in agency vehicles; participate in providing a safe and clean working environment.
QUALIFICATIONS include being a responsible, committed, caring, self motivated individual with a positive attitude. Be willing to step into a leadership role as needed while working as a positive member of the team to provide appropriate social role modeling to people with disabilities. You must have a valid WI driver’s license with 3 years driving experience and an acceptable driving record. Must pass a physical and TB screen. Must be able to participate in a drug screening program. Must have an acceptable criminal background check. EOE
1. Full Time: Monday through Friday, between 30 and 35 hours a week, 1st shift, as early as 7:30 am and no later than 4:30 pm
2. Part Time: Monday through Saturday, up to 20 hours a week, 1st shift, as early as 8:45 am and no later than 6:30 pm
