Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Green Bay WI to provide in-depth analysis on a broad spectrum of operational and financial issues. The Senior Financial Analyst will also play a key role in the annual planning and budgeting processes and give financial support to a specific area of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand the operating procedures and policies of various departments and recommend improvement plans.
  • Analyze department expenditures for reasonableness and recommend cost reduction opportunities.
  • Develop decision support tools that can enhance departments' understanding of their cost structures and drivers.
  • Prepare monthly reports and narratives.
  • Participate in ongoing financial initiatives, including planning, budgeting and reporting.
  • Take part in month-end close.
  • Present financial data and analysis to leadership teams.
  • Provide leadership to less experienced finance team members.

Skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in business, finance or accounting.
  • MBA or CPA a plus.
  • Four to six years of finance experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of automated financial systems, including Oracle.
  • Strong analytical skills.
