How your role fits into Boldt:

Our Operational Excellence Manager will develop and manage key business objectives for the group while supporting the strategic goals of the company. In this position, the Manager will lead larger and more complex improvement projects for the organization assessing inefficiencies, analyzing causal factors, and taking a scientific approach to drive sustainable results. This leadership role represents Boldt with diligence and humility to support a people focused culture of continuous improvement and personal achievement.   • Assess, analyze, and measure the effectiveness of changes delivered to impacted employees and develop quantifiable, repeatable, and sustainable processes for improvement.

  • Collaborate with the Operational Excellence leadership to identify and prioritize strategic objectives that provide the highest impact on operational excellence outcomes and key results.

  • Engage in integrating project-based activities and learning with on-going efforts to encourage sharing, participation may include, i.e. Lean Construction Institute (LCI), Shingo Institute and Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI).


Required Experience

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred in the areas of Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • Seven to ten years of experience in lean thinking and continuous improvement work.

  • Successful leadership in executing Operational Excellence methods enabling efficiency, effectiveness, and tangible financial benefit.

  • Demonstrated ability to read group dynamics, lead critical, productive conversations and proactively seek growth opportunities with diligence and humility.

  • Preferred certifications AGC CM-Lean; Lean or Prosci.

  • Desired proficiency with basic statistical analysis, CI tools or change management techniques.

  • Strong observation, listening, and written/oral communication skills required.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office required.

Physical requirements and working conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The ability to optimally communicate is required. The employee may occasionally move up to 15 pounds.

The working conditions of this position requires the employee to work inside an office environment. The environment for which this position functions may contain scents and fragrances. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.
