What You Will Do:

Our Project Manager oversees and directs all aspects of project management. Interfaces with all levels of internal and external stakeholders on all aspects of planning, scheduling, organizing, directing, and controlling the project. Actively develops and manages project schedules and prepares project status reports; works to ensure plans adhere to product requirements and schedules.

How You Will Do It:

  • Motivates the team to meet commitments to the established timing. Build team technically and personally through mentoring and coaching. Resolve conflicts between team members, departments, and external stakeholders. Negotiate with internal and external groups and vendors. Ability to identify root cause of a problem, develop corrective action and lead team to resolution.

  • Acts as the central communication point for the team to ensure that each team member is aware of their deliverables and timing commitments at all times. Provides team information needed to perform tasks.

  • Communicates the impact of scope changes to the stakeholders in a timely manner in terms of cost, timing, product, quality of execution and impact on the project. Differentiate scope changes from engineering changes. Manage the risk of scope changes and keep management informed of change and effect on the project.

  • Ability to create work breakdown structure with milestones/deliverables used as the foundation. Program timeline is utilized to clearly communicate deliverables and due dates. Create issue lists that are clear and concise with due dates and deliverables.

What We Look For:

Required

  • Technical undergraduate degree

  • PMP certification desired

  • Five (5) years working experience in Engineering and/or Manufacturing/Quality departments

  • Three (3) years prior project/program management experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of product development process

  • Working knowledge of Program Management process and tools

  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and influence others

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Strong conflict management and critical thinking skills

  • Strong attention to detail
