Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI wants you to join the team at Preble as a Program Supervisor. Preble House serves eight adult men and women with mental health issues. LSS staff members provide support in medication management, independent-living skills, interactive groups and 24-hour supervision. It is a transitional program where residents typically stay one year or more, helping people get the support they need to live independently in the community. The position will support 7 staff in a 24x7 residential program. Position is Monday through Friday, days, but will require flexibility to provide support for shift coverage.

The Program Supervisor has day-to-day responsibilities for one or more programs within the Business Unit. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, effective coordination of day-to-day program operations, direct supervision and performance management of program staff and their work assignments, ensuring the program meets licensing and/or contract requirements, ensuring agency best practice standards are met. Will be expected to cover shifts and provide direct service to clients on occasion.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology or closely related field and at least 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in a similar role working in social services or closely related field is required. Experience should include three years working with a similar population. Supervisory experience strongly is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to perform the essential duties of the role; a motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record per the LSS Driver Safety Procedure is required, and ability to meet LSS auto insurance requirements.
TRAVEL: Position may travel daily between programs. May travel over the two state area on occasion for training and meetings and may include some overnights.
