The Human Resources Internship will begin in May 2022 and end in August 2022.  The HR Intern will learn, apply and develop the following job skills:
  • General Human Resources competencies including staffing and recruitment, employee relations, equal employment opportunity and contract compliance, job bid process administration and other human resources practices.
  • Data analysis and metrics.
  • Project Management.
In addition to exposure across all aspects of the Human Resources function, both within Operations and Corporate HR, the HR Intern will complete a project focused upon the hourly Recruitment and Staffing Process with the end goal of improving applicant success rate and new hire retention.

Expected Areas of Competence (KSAs)

Developing knowledge of Human Resources concepts including 
  • Staffing and Recruitment.
  • Retention and Engagement.
  • Basic Employment Law.
  • Labor and Employee Relations.
Education and Experience Requirements 
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business with an emphasis in Human Resources Management.
  • Experience in Human Resources or customer service in a business or industrial setting is a plus.
