CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Position Summary

As an Import/Export Supply Chain Coordinator, you will manage shipping processes, serve as the primary liaison between plants, supply chain, and freight forwarders, and ensure compliance with international trade agreements and Customs legislation.

You will also support the Team with freight management functions and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Operate shipping processes and resolve problem shipments.

Coordinate with plants, supply chain, and freight forwarders.

Arrange outbound cargo/freight shipments.

Support the team with freight management functions.

Ensure compliance with international trade agreements and Customs legislation.

Participate in team meetings and support team members.

Month end and daily production accounting, reconciliation of inventories, order and coordinate production needs.

Qualifications

Communications skills with all on-site and off-site personnel.

5+ years of related experience in ocean and air export forwarding, import brokerage, or execution of international logistics.

Working knowledge of Freight Forwarder or Brokerage Operations.

Understanding of IMO forms, hazardous regulations, and SDS Sheets.

Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Planning function in SAP.
