Job Specifics:Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5pm, no weekends or holidaysFTE Status: 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week)Location: This position is located at the Ashwaubenon Clinic located at 1630 Commanche Avenue in Green Bay. Bellin Health is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to play a vital role in providing high quality patient care and support within our busy primary care clinic. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare providers, assisting in patient examinations, performing basic medical procedures, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. Your compassion, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will contribute to the overall success of our team based care primary care clinics.On a given day as a Clinic Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play the role of collaborator, assistant, and advocate for our patients. You will spend time:Providing compassionate and competent care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during their visit to the primary care clinicTaking accurate measurements of patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respirationPerforming basic medical procedures such as wound care, dressing changes, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing as directed by our team of healthcare providersDocumenting and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vital signs, pain, reason for visit, flowsheets, treatments, and observationsCommunicating effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team ensuring information is conveyed clearly and with empathyEnsuring the availability and proper functioning of medical equipment and supplies, reporting any deficiencies or malfunctions promptlyConducting vision screening, lab draws with appropriate training, EKGsMaintaining a clean and organized work environment; cleaning/stocking exam rooms and procedure rooms and properly disposing of empty sharps containersScheduling future appointments for patients and performing follow up calls to patients concerning outreach activities such as Medicare, well child visits, annual physicals, and overdue appointments which are part of a team based care model approach in our clinicsPreparing items for patient appointments such as immunizations, printing patient labels, label specimensCollaborating with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and administrative staff, to ensure coordinated and efficient patient careWhat do we expect of you?
