Job Description

This role is crucial in supporting the team's efforts to meet goals and deadlines while ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting processes. The Financial Reporting Staff Analyst will report directly to the Director of Financial Reporting and collaborate closely with the Controller.


The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Collaborate with the financial reporting team to prepare accurate and timely external reports, including financial statements and disclosures.
  • Conduct data analysis and certify data to maintain accuracy in reporting, identifying trends and anomalies for further investigation.
  • Assist in monitoring internal controls to prevent errors or fraudulent activities, contributing to the integrity of our financial reporting framework.
  • Support process improvements and potential automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the reporting process.
  • Administer stock compensation programs, handling both administrative tasks and accounting entries accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, contributing to transparent communications of our financial performance.
  • Engage with auditors, responding to inquiries, providing necessary documentation and ensuring accessibility and accuracy of support materials.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role, with exposure to financial reporting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively.
