The Business Analyst, Clinical Services will manage and coordinate the development of program and product requirements within the Clinical Services Division. Working with various products, this role will be a subject matter expert on the process to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs for various projects. This role will help the team submit projects, test, and implement changes. This role will also play a role in process improvement, assisting others in strategizing and documenting needs to support operational efficiencies.

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Document and validate business requirements, use cases, and stories for use in small and large projects as well as process improvement efforts.
  • Analyze and verify requirements/user stories for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and Product Managers to ensure project goals are being met and functionality works as intended.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project financials and ROI.
  • Create and execute test plans to ensure system enhancement meets the deliverables.
  • Manage issue/defect requests and resolution.
  • Communicate to the training leads to ensure that enhancements are reflected in the internal and external training materials.
  • Learn and apply technical tools that support the product development process and are used to communicate the business features to the technical design and development teams.
  • With input from key stakeholders, prioritize the business needs of the product and incorporate the criteria to develop the product's functional releases.
  • Create and update status reports upon request that communicate the status/health of products in development.

What our team expects from you?

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or a combination of experience and a relevant certification from recognized industry organizations.
  • Minimum of four years experience with some of the following functions:
    • Documenting complex technical processing functions.
    • Participating in an agile development project team.
    • Experience with core software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Experience in roles like a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Product Manager.
    • Experience with Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Project, and Team Foundation Server.
    • Working experience with pharmacy benefits and claims processing.
    • Experience validating/testing project deliverables.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
