SUMMARY
This role will be a key member of the Nature's Way legal team. The Corporate Paralegal / Contract Administrator will perform contracts administration, including, contracts intake, contracts review and drafting, database and process management. The Corporate Paralegal / Contract Administrator will also provide corporate governance support and administrative support services for the legal team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties & responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Act as primary administrator of contract lifecycle system, managing and maintaining company's contract lifecycle management system, including, cataloging of executed agreements and arranging relevant reporting.
  • Work with internal business partners to manage submission of contracts and related documents, consistent with company's contracts intake process.
  • Review various commercial agreements and amendments to agreements including advising on and drafting negotiated terms, preparing agreements for signature, and managing digital execution processes (such as DocuSign).
  • Under the supervision of an attorney, provide legal guidance to business clients on questions involving existing agreements.
  • Be first point of contact for questions regarding contract lifecycle management system.
  • Develop, implement, and support contract related process improvement.
  • Perform other contracting support as requested or assigned.
  • Provide corporate governance support to General Counsel.
  • Provide administrative support for legal department.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory responsibilities in this role.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Strong contracts administration/ management experience including working with a contract lifecycle management system.
  • Ability to organize workload, prioritize tasks and projects, and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and Company associates.
  • Ability to learn new substantive areas of support as may be assigned.
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize and manage complex information.
  • Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and DocuSign.
  • Detail oriented.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Associate degree in paralegal studies or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Corporate Paralegal or Contracts Administrator.
  • Experience working in an in-house legal department is a plus.
  • Experience in reviewing, drafting, and analyzing commercial contracts. Experience with corporate governance law is helpful, but not required.
