The Administrator II, Applications Systems ensures efforts are in alignment with IT Enterprise Services to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services to simplify people's lives. This role is responsible for application administration including server maintenance, application upgrades, application support and requests, disaster recovery planning, and providing any other support within the vendor purchased applications used at Navitus. This individual is recognized as the go-to person when technical support is required. This individual will work directly with application developers, business users, internal IT, and third-party vendors to improve performance, ensure high availability of the system, and administer the overall health of the environment. This individual will participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the systems are running optimal and maintenance is consistent with company goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Develop and sustain a culture of operational excellence that creates value for the customer.
  • Ensure all environments are managed and maintained to meet service level agreements.
  • Administer and maintain Oracle Fusion applications and databases.
  • Implement Security measures and access controls.
  • Support change control and testing processes for modifications to application systems
  • Proactive monitoring and maintenance of Linux and/or Windows system environments.
  • Provide responsive technical assistance and document configuration to support processes.
  • Work with additional functional teams to ensure optimal operations and uptime of application environments.
  • Develop strong working relationship with third party vendors.
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
  • Provide after-hours support.

What our team expects from you?

  • Associate degree in the field of computer science 3 years working experience or 5 years equivalent work experience in the field of application and server administration.
  • Hands on technical experience maintaining servers.
  • Enterprise Windows Administration including concepts such as Certificate Services, Web Services, Provisioning and Security
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework
  • Knowledge of Agile Framework
  • Enterprise Application management experience in platforms in the following categories:
    • Oracle Fusion and/or Oracle ORMB
    • Microsoft Cloud Applications and Collaboration Tools
    • ETL (Extract Transform and Load) Automation
    • Business Intelligence
    • Process Automation
    • Data Catalog
    • ITSM
    • Automated Document Generation
    • Finance Platforms
  • Hands on enterprise application and hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Working technical knowledge of networks, PCs and platform operating systems including Windows, Red Hat
  • Working knowledge of Scripting languages such as Shell Scripting, YAML, Bash, Python, PowerShell, Batch, Object Oriented Programing, HTML5, CSS
  • Working knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL, PostGres, MongoDB
  • Working knowledge of Structured Query Language, Database Scripting concepts
  • Working knowledge of Release Automation processes
  • Knowledge of Application support methodologies and processes for platforms such as M365 and Dynamics Cloud applications, Great Plains, Atlassian Suite, Informatica, Automic, Qlikview, QlikSense, Alation, Qlik Replicate
  • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws; including SSAE16, HIPPA, and URAC
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
