Overview

R&P is seeking an FFG(X) Ship Production Analyst in support of the U.S. Navy's FFG(X) Frigate Shipbuilding Program Office (PMS 515). PMS 515 is responsible for the design, production, test and delivery of the U.S. Navy's next generation Frigate, currently designated FFG(X). Work will be performed at contractor facilities near Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington DC, and at other Government facilities, including the design and construction shipyard, Fincantieri Marinette Marine (FMM) in Marinette, WI.

Responsibilities

Provide Ship Production Scheduling analysis support to the PMS 515 Production team on the waterfront in Marinette, WI:

    Status of overall production progress.
  • Comparative evaluations of shipyard schedules to actual production progress.
  • Anticipated challenges to production based on personal observation, experience, and skills.
  • Evaluation of shipyard's revised schedules and interfaces across platforms under construction to identify potential conflicts.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Related shipyard experiences in journeyman, management, estimating and progressing will be considered.
  • In-Depth knowledge of shipyards and shipbuilding activities
  • Ability to extract pertinent data from the Itegrated Master Schedule (IMS) software, Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Working understanding of physical progressing of new construction ships (highly desired) including the successor / predecessor relationships within each ship's construction phase.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Primavera (highly desired)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, and Power-Point)
  • Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
