Shift: 1st Shift

Work model: On-Site

Schedule: Full-time; Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri, 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and every other weekend

Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Security Specialist in Green Bay to answer incoming phone calls from company truck drivers with security-related questions and requests. The Security Specialist will also remotely operate gates and monitor entrances at Schneider facilities across the country.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct callers to the appropriate department or associate.
  • Maintain courteous communication with internal associates and company drivers.
  • Oversee the accurate inventory of equipment.
  • Control gate access across Schneider locations.
  • Analyze and react to remote gate video surveillance.
  • Handle and resolve security alarms promptly.
  • Guide associates on adhering to security policies and procedures.
  • Handle confidential business information with the utmost discretion to ensure confidentiality is maintained.

Skills and qualifications:
  • Associate degree.
  • 1-2 years of previous customer service, business or related experience.
  • Previous security, loss prevention or criminal justice training is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to review and monitor video monitors for extended periods of time.
