Essential Duties:

  • Demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Follow general policies and procedures.
  • Perform laboratory experiments safely as directed by the Engineering or Technical Director
  • Build, assemble, troubleshoot, and test laboratory, prototype, and pilot test set-ups, as needed.
  • Assist with pilot operations at the Technology /Engineering Center or at field locations.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams and other Engineering groups within TETRA (Chemicals, Water & Flowback), and suppliers /vendors.
  • Generate reports on experiments performed.
  • Maintain and perform calibrations on testing equipment and keep records.
  • Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization.
  • Complete all required HSEQ training and participate in all HSEQ required activities.
  • Develop and maintain a Proficient competency level as assigned.

Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or similar disciplines 
  • EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years’ experience in laboratory and/or pilot studies in industrial or municipal water or wastewater treatment
  • TRAVEL: Up to 20%
  • OTHER: 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
