About The Opportunity

Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
  • Executes procurement strategies to assure company objectives in the areas of cost, profitability, productivity, quality, customer service, and sustainability
  • Executes tactical procurement activities of assigned location(s) including interacting with vendors, verifying specifications and pricing, creating purchase orders, monitoring order status, and resolution of non-compliance
  • Ensures compliance with national supplier agreements
  • Supports cost savings initiatives to drive operational excellence
  • Administers annual assigned scorecard initiatives and monitors performance through forecasting and/or other company reports
  • Ensures compliance to Menasha's Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications

  • Knowledge of the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the functions responsible for procurement of materials, components, equipment and services
  • Knowledge of practices and procedures for procurement of materials, components, equipment and services
  • Knowledge of methods, tools and documentation of evaluating, selecting and certifying suppliers and part
  • Knowledge of process and practices for managing a variety of contractual agreements
  • Knowledge of the contractual and legal matters related to expenditures (consulting services, maintenance, agreements, hardware and software acquisitions, outsourcing, etc.)
  • Knowledge of tools, processes and practices for purchasing goods and services via electronic links to suppliers and partners
